The only way to stop disbandment is to elect a new City Council committed to fairness.

Only 40% of residents voted in the last municipal election.  Don’t let others decide your future.  Make sure to vote and give your support to candidates committed to stopping disbandment and ensuring any future discussions about policing include public input, a full cost/benefit analysis, and broad public consensus.

KOPS has reviewed the candidates voting record, public statements and stated views on policing and recommends the following candidates to stop disbandment and ensure future policing discussions are handled in a fair and thorough way:
